1000 years into the future

Our World Heritage: The land uplift will continue at the same rate for a few hundred years. However, the rate decreases as the Earth’s crust comes closer to its original position. Researchers estimate that the land will rise yet 90–130 metres. On the other hand, sea levels will rise as a result of the climate change. This means that the land uplift will be less visible in the future or not visible at all.
