Our World Heritage: Both the High Coast and the Kvarken Archipelago were part of the Great Partition during the 1700s under the Swedish rule. Via the Great Partition, every farm got their own fields and pastures.

Other World Heritages: In the late 1700s, Sweden built Suomenlinna castle as protection against the Russians. Nowadays Suomenlinna is one of the seven World Heritage Sites in Finland. Drottningholm castle in Stockholm, Sweden, was built in the turn between 1600s and 1700s.
