Our World Heritage: During the Middle Ages, the Kvarken Archipelago had increasingly settled population. Just before the turn of the century, the notorious German pirates called Victual Brothers sailed through the Kvarken Archipelago. They planned to capture Korsholm’s wooden castle that was then located next to present Old Vaasa. They also built Styresholm’s hillfort on the banks of the river Ångermanälven.
Other World Heritages: Incas built the city of Macchu Picchu in the 15th century.

Point of Interest pages
These pages are a custom post type that can be managed from WordPress admin page, under PoI’s. They have a custom field for lat/long that will automatically create a map marker for them on the map when published.
